So often when reading theology, reward comes by perseverance through "dry regions."  Every so often, however, one comes along to discover something extraordinary. Recently I found a small paperback book that turns out to be a marvelous little gem.  It is a work in Christology by Donald Macleod titled From Glory to Golgotha: Controversial Issues in the Life of Christ.  It is a quick read, yet once into it I found myself slowing down and relishing each section.  It is so well written and expressed, that read contemplatively it delivers a richness in understanding and blessing, working  deeply into the heart of devotion.  Do not miss this one.  Highly recommended.
